Centrus Energy executive Shahram Ghasemian will step down from the company later this month, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission Filing.
In the June 6 SEC filing, Ghasemian, who is the company’s senior vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary, has given notice to Centrus that he will resign from his positions effective June 29.
Ghasemian will depart to pursue another opportunity, according to the SEC Filing.
When Ghasemian steps down, Richard Emery will be acting general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary of Centrus, according to the filing.
Emery currently serves as the company’s deputy general counsel and director of corporate compliance.
Centrus, headquartered in Bethesda, Md., is a uranium broker and enrichment technology developing company. It recently reported a strong increase in its revenue for the first quarter of this year, jumping from $43.7 million in the first quarter of 2024 to $73.1 million.
