DNFSB TO HOLD MEETING ON SAFETY CULTURE TODAY

The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board  this morning is holdingthe first of two planned meetings on the subject of safety culture across the Department of Energy complex. During today’s meeting, the Board is scheduled to hear from representatives from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, NASA and industry on various approaches for assessing organizational culture and for identifying and addressing organizational weaknesses. The meeting is set to be held from 9 a.m.-12:20 p.m. at DNFSB headquarters in Washington. The second meeting has not yet been scheduled.
