DOE Awards Paducah Infrastructure Support Contract to Incumbent Swift & Staley

The Department of Energy yesterday awarded the contract for infrastructure support services at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant to incumbent Swift & Staley. The largely firm-fixed-price contract has a three month base period with a 22-month option period. The procurement received five bids, according to a DOE release. “Infrastructure support services to be provided under this contract include surveillance, maintenance and repair of facilities; janitorial services; grounds maintenance, snow removal, and pest control; roadway/parking lot maintenance; computing, telecommunication, and cyber security; fleet management; real and personal property management; records management and document control; safeguards and security; environment, safety, health and quality program; and training services,” DOE said in a release.
