DOE Releases Sources Sought for West Valley Technical Assistance Contract

The Department of Energy yesterday released a sources sought notice for a potential new small business contract to provide technical assistance to the West Valley Demonstration Project. The market research effort is open to small businesses with a size standard of $15 million and responses are due Oct. 21. According to the sources sought synopsis, “General scope for this acquisition includes providing: Subject matter experts in technical areas; Environmental characterization support; Maintaining support for hardware and software maintenance, application development, and database administration for DOE’s data management system (DMS); Support to DOE with oversight, technical consultation and implementation of a variety of safety, environmental, quality, and health programs; Support in project integration; and Ancillary administrative support.”
