EFCOG HOLDS EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING THIS WEEK AT DOE HQ

The 2014 Energy Facility Contractors Group Executive Council Meeting will run from Tuesday through Thursday this week in Washington, DC, at the Department of Energy’s Forrestal Building. Tuesday speakers include Paul Bosco, Director of DOE’s Office of Acquisition & Project Management and a panel of DOE site office managers, including Geoffrey Beausoleil of Sandia, Johnny Moore of Oak Ridge and David Moody of Savannah River. Wednesday features an industry executives panel including Bob Cochran of CB&I Federal Services, Pete Diakun of Newport News Nuclear, Michael Graham of Bechtel, Greg Meyer of Fluor and Billy Morrison of EnergySolutions. Working group and DOE presentations are on the agenda Thursday, including a briefing on Waste Isolation Pilot Plant lessons learned by Jim Hutton of DOE’s Office of Environmental Management.
