The Department of Energy released late this week a final Request for Proposal for a small business set-aside contract to provide probabilistic performance assessment services at the West Valley Demonstration Project. The time-and material contract is expected to come in under $5 million with a three-year base period and a two year option. The procurement would “provide support to the DOE, West Valley Demonstration Project, and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority in performing a probabilistic analysis to support the Phase 2 Decision making Alternative for the West Valley Demonstration Project and Western New York Nuclear Service Center,” according to a DOE release. Questions are due by April 16 and proposals are due on May 4.
