HANFORD SITE SERVICES CONTRACTOR MSA EARNS 90 PERCENT OF FY12 FEE

Hanford site services contractor Mission Support Alliance earned about 90 percent of its fee for Fiscal Year 2012, according to information recently released by the Department of Energy. MSA earned about $19.1 million out of $21.2 million available for the period from October 2011 through September 2012. An award fee scorecard noted a number of achievements, including the development of a “comprehensive sitewide interface management plan” and the implementation of five cost savings strategies. “MSA has been very responsive to DOE, contractor and stakeholder requests and provided excellent support to [Richland] and [Office of River Protection] in responding to multiple requests for products supporting out-year budget development,” the scorecard states. The scorecard did not list any deficiencies
