By ExchangeMonitor

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) has promoted Greg Ennis to senior vice president and chief financial officer of its Mission Technologies division, the company announced Oct. 2.

Ennis will lead Mission Technologies’ financial organization and oversee accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, rates and budgets, and program cost control across the division, HII said.

Ennis previously served as vice president and controller for Mission Technologies, where he helped strengthen the division’s financial operations and support its growth. Ennis brings more than 25 years of experience in government contracting, accounting and financial management, according to HII.

“Greg’s leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our financial performance and driving disciplined growth,” Andy Green, president of Mission Technologies, said in the announcement.

Mission Technologies provides defense and national-security capabilities that includes nuclear services. The division has more than 7,000 employees and operates at more than 100 facilities worldwide.

Ennis succeeds Ashutosh Gokhale, who left HII in June to join Modern Technology Solutions Inc.
