HOUSE OVERSIGHT SUBCOMMITTEE CHAIRMAN LOSES PRIMARY

Rep. Cliff Stearns, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, was defeated in a Florida Republican primary election Aug. 14. Stearns came in second in a four-person field, according to reports, with the primary won by Ted Yoho, a Gainesville-based veterinarian.
