House Set to Vote on FY 2015 Continuing Resolution Today

By ExchangeMonitor

House lawmakers are expected to vote today on the Continuing Resolution set to fund government programs at the start of Fiscal Year 2015 after beginning debate on the measure yesterday. The CR would fund most Department of Energy and National Nuclear Security Administration programs at annualized Fiscal Year 2014 levels through Dec. 11. It also contains provisions intended to help address funding needs at the Portsmouth D&D project and the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant. The House had been expected to vote on the CR last week, but chose to push consideration to this week because of the White House’s request for the inclusion of authorization to take action against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
