Jeff Allison’s retirement from his deputy manager position at Savannah River Field Office was announced Tuesday at the South Carolina Nuclear Advisory Council meeting.
A spokesperson from the Savannah River Field Office told the Monitor that Allison will retire at the end of the calendar year.
Allison has served as the deputy manager since January 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to his current position, he has done work at the DOE and National Nuclear Security Administration since 2002, primarily in Aiken, S.C., where Savannah River Site is located.
Before joining the DOE, Allison worked at Westinghouse as an engineer from 1983 to 1991. Allison also studied at Princeton University from 1979 to 1983, according to his LinkedIn profile.
