Thomas Mooney, a manager experienced in the public and private sectors, joined Amentum in August as a vice president for business development, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Mooney comes to Amentum from Parsons Corp., where he was a business development director since January 2023. Before that he was a strategic account manager for Leidos. Prior to that Mooney served as chief operating officer and chief of staff for the Department of Energy’s office of Environmental Management.
Mooney has also worked for the Department of Defense including a stint as a DoD White House liaison. He has also worked for the technology company LMI as well as the Department of the Army.
