Morrison jumps ship to EnergySolutions after quitting Veolia

By ExchangeMonitor

William Morrison joined EnergySolutions, Salt Lake City, after leaving rival waste management company Veolia Nuclear Solutions Federal Services, according to a press release.

Morrison, rejoining the Energy Solutions for another stint in Utah, will be chief operating officer of waste management, federal services and commercial development and strategy, the press release says.

“I am excited to have Billy back at EnergySolutions,” Ken Robuck, president and CEO of EnergySolutions, said in the release. “He will be a great addition to our company and our executive leadership team. His expertise in the commercial, federal and international nuclear and hazardous waste markets will continue to drive our growth while identifying and securing new opportunities in those markets.”

Only days ago, Morrison announced his resignation, “with sadness,” from Veolia Nuclear Solutions’ U.S. Federal Services business.

EnergySolutions and Veolia compete for business from DOE nuclear sites.
