Nevada Site Specific Advisory Board Schedules Meeting

The Nevada Site Specific Advisory Board has scheduled a public meeting for Tuesday, Nov. 10, to offer information on remediation operations at the Nevada National Security Site.
 
The topics will include “briefings and recommendation development related to the groundwater long-term monitoring plan and the cleanup of historic above-ground nuclear testing locations” at the former Nevada Test Site, according to a National Nuclear Security Administration press release.
 
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. at the Frank H. Rogers Science and Technology Building, 755 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.
 
It will be preceded by 4 p.m. session on “Water Levels 101” led by Joseph Fenelon of the U.S. Geological Survey and Nicole DeNovia of consulting, design, and construction firm Golder Associates.
