NNSA RELEASES FINAL RFP FOR NEVADA ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

By ExchangeMonitor

The National Nuclear Security Administration yesterday released a final request for proposals for the follow-on environmental characterization and remediation contract for the Nevada National Security Site. The final RFP includes few major changes from the latest draft version, though unlike earlier versions it makes transition costs a firm-fixed price contract line item. The contract includes a one-year base period starting Oct. 1, 2014, and a four-year option period. It is open to companies meeting a small business size standard of 500 employees. Responses are due March 14, while past performance requirements are due 10 days earlier. A team of Navarro Research and Engineering and INTERA has held the environmental characterization and remediation contract at Nevada since 2009.
