PERMA-FIX GOES THROUGH ORGANIZATIONAL RE-ALIGNMENT

By ExchangeMonitor
Perma-Fix Environmental Services went through an organizational re-alignment this past weekend that included a reduction in its workforce. The re-alignment included a reduction of 18 employees across the company. “Perma-Fix has realigned our organization to focus on increasing our efficiency in operations, based upon where we see the market today,” Perma-Fix spokesperson Anne Smith said. “Unfortunately, approximately 18 employees company wide, were affected by this recent reduction in force. Based on current projections, extremely tough decisions were made by senior management as we continue to adapt to market conditions. The 18 employees represented overhead positions across all departments, company-wide (not location specific).”
