Savannah River CAB Holds Full Board Meeting This Week

The Savannah River Site Citizen’s Advisory Board will hold its full board meeting today and tomorrow in Beaufort, South Carolina. On the agenda are two recommendations urging improved communications from the Department of Energy as well as a recommendation on DOE’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget request calling for full funding for liquid waste cleanup.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
