Frank Sheppard is set to become Parsons’ Salt Waste Processing Facility project manager, taking over for Lou Jackson after his retirement. The move is subject to formal Department of Energy approval, Jackson said in a message to employees yesterday. “Frank is intimately familiar with the contract and the project having served as Deputy Project Manager for the past three years,” Jackson said. “He has extensive experience with the DOE and is a well-known and respected member of the DOE contracting community. Dr. Tom Burns will be designated as Deputy PM to act in the absence of Frank while retaining his full-time position as Director of Engineering.”
