By ExchangeMonitor
Savannah River Site security contractor G4S Government Solutions, Inc.-Wackenhut Services Incorporated earned about 90 percent of its available award fee for Fiscal Year 2014, according to a scorecard released by the Department of Energy Friday. WSI earned $4.97 million out of a total of $5.5 million in available award fee. “WSI-SRS has demonstrated an excellent level of performance this rating period, exceeding almost all of the significant award fee criteria and meeting overall cost, schedule and technical performance requirements of the contract,” states a Nov. 20 letter from DOE Savannah River Operations Office Manager Dave Moody to the contractor that covers the second half of the fiscal year. During the second half of FY 2014, the contractor earned approximately 93 percent of its available fee ($2.6 million out of $2.8 million). Once known as G4S Government Solutions and Wackenhut Services, the company changed its name to Centerra when it was sold to a private equity firm earlier this year.
