URS NAMES ANGELOS TO HEAD NEW PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BUSINESS

URS has tapped Jimmy Angelos to serve as President of URS Professional Solutions, which was created through a reorganization of the company’s Safety Management Solutions business. For the past eight months, Angelos has led the Consulting and Engineering business segments of Professional Solutions as its Acting President, and previously served for more than three years as Senior Vice President of Consulting Solutions with URS Safety Management Solutions, according to a company release issued late last week. “Jimmy Angelos has earned an outstanding professional reputation for himself and URS by delivering excellent performance for our customers,” URS Global Management & Operations Services Group General Manager David Pethick said in the release. “While we honor our safety heritage, our new name reflects our capabilities for the future,” Angelos said in the release. “Both our current clients and new customers will benefit from the changes we’re making.”
