Westinghouse Electric has selected Justin Johnson as executive vice president and chief legal officer following the retirement of Michael Sweeney.
Westinghouse announced the appointment in a Jan. 6 press release. Sweeney is retiring after more than 20 years at Westinghouse and 15 as the company’s chief legal officer, Westinghouse said.
Johnson joins Westinghouse from Jacobs, where he spent more than eight years in various legal roles, most recently, executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Westinghouse said.
Previously Johnson held positions at Vistra Energy and the law firms of Hogan Lovells, Kaye Scholer (now Arnold & Porter) and Sullivan & Cromwell.
