ON THE INTERNATIONAL FRONT

Engineering firm Wood Group Kenny has been selected to provide technical advisory services to the U.K. Department of Energy and Climate Change regarding carbon capture and storage policies and potential future projects, the firm announced this week. Wood Group Kenny has recently worked with Shell on its Peterhead CCS project currently in development in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The agreement between the firm and DECC will span four years. “This contract award demonstrates how we apply our extensive engineering expertise to diverse markets. Utilising our knowledge in CO2 and CCS projects, we are positioned at the forefront of this sector and look forward to supporting DECC in this field,” Wood Group Kenny CEO Bob MacDonald said in a release.
