Performance for Nevada National Security Site protective force contractor WSI dipped during the last eight months of Fiscal Year 2012, with the security contractor receiving a “very good” rating and 86.3 percent of its award fee in the first performance period of its new contract at the site. WSI-Nevada, a subsidiary of G4S Government Services, earned $1.4 million out of $1.6 million in available award fee for the period running from Feb. 1, 2012, to Sept. 30, 2012. The NNSA did not release the full Performance Evaluation Review for the security contractor and did not provide information characterizing WSI-Nevada’s performance during the ratings period. WSI was re-awarded the security contract in late 2011. During Fiscal Year 2011, the contractor earned an “outstanding” rating and $3.4 million for work at the site, 94 percent of the $3.6 million available.
