Brandon Williams, head of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), will give the keynote speech at an event hosted by the House Nuclear Security Working Group, Bechtel and the Advanced Nuclear Weapons Alliance Deterrence Center on the Capitol Wednesday.
The Congressional Nuclear Security Working Group is chaired by Rep. Chuck Fleischmann (R-Tenn.), whose district abuts the Y-12 National Security Complex, and Rep. Bill Foster (D-Ill.).
Williams will give the keynote address on nuclear security modernization, followed by a discussion moderated by Richard Tighe, president of the prime conglomerate that manages and operates Y-12, Consolidated Nuclear Security.
The discussion is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. eastern time, followed by a reception at 5:30 p.m., at Rayburn House Office Building, room 2359.
