11: Ceremonial opening. Centrus Energy Corp. planned an event to mark the start of operations of its demonstration cascade of high assay low enriched uranium centrifuges at the Department of Energy’s Portsmouth Site near Piketon, Ohio. Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk was to attend, local media reported.

12: Meeting: The Texas Low-level Radioactive Waste Disposal Compact Commission holds a hybrid meeting starting at 9 a.m. Eastern Time from Courtyard by Marriott Burlington Harbor 25 Cherry St, Burlington, VT 05401. The webinar information is available here

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
