07-09: Exchange Monitor’s 14th Annual Nuclear Deterrence Summit. Hyatt Regency Crustal City at Reagan National Airport. Arlington, Va. 8:00 a.m. Eastern – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. Eastern to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Wednesday. Register online.

9: Online virtual meeting of the The Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory Board (EM SSAB), Oak Ridge. 6 p.m. Eastern. Those planning to attend should email [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

10: Teleconference meeting between the National Nuclear Security Administration and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission about the commission’s request for supplemental information for the Model No. HI-STAR PBT Package: a transportation cask for tritium producing burnable absorber rods. 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Eastern. Contact the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to attend.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
