16: The Citizens Advisory Board for the Savannah River Site holds a public meeting starting at 1 p.m. E.T. The session can be assessed at the advisory board’s youtube page

17: The Environmental Management Site Advisory Board for Hanford meets in open session starting at 9 a.m. Pacific Time. Request digital access to the meeting at least five days in advance by emailing Gary Younger of Department of Energy, [email protected].

17: An in-person public meeting by Tennessee and federal agencies on a planned on-site waste disposal facility at the DOE’s Oak Ridge Site is scheduled for 6 p.m. E.T. at Pollard Technology Conference Center, 210 Badger Ave, Oak Ridge, Tenn. 37830.

18: Hearing, Senate Appropriations energy and water development subcommittee. A Review of the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget Submission for National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). NNSA Administrator Jill Hruby and senior NNSA officials to testify. Dirksen Senate Office Building SD-192, and streaming live at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time.

25: The Northern New Mexico Environmental Management Site Specific Advisory Board holds a hybrid meeting starting at 1 p.m. Mountain Time.

NEW: Via public records request, I’ve been able to confirm reporting today that a warrant has been issued for DOE deputy asst. secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition Sam Brinton for another luggage theft, this time at Las Vegas’s Harry Reid airport. (cc: @EMPublications)
