The House Appropriations Committee will markup its version of the fiscal 2027 energy and water development and related agencies bill, which would fund the agency in charge of maintaining the nation’s nuclear weapons stockpile, on Wednesday, May 20.
The House Appropriations Energy and Water Subcommittee on Friday passed by voice vote its version of the bill that would give $27 billion to the Department of Energy’s semi-autonomous National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
The hearing will take place at 11 a.m. Eastern Time in the Rayburn House Office Building, room 2359.
