IN NNSA

The National Nuclear Security Administration issued a three-month contract extension to Synergy Solutions, Inc., a company based in Oak Ridge, Tenn., “to continue personnel security and facility clearance programs support services,” according to an Award Notice issued this week. The contract is being extended “on a sole source basis” while the NNSA reviews proposals for the same services for a follow-on contract to be awarded in September 2015, the notice says. It notes that the extension will not affect SSI’s contract ceiling of $38,787,334 and adds that “SSI is the only company capable of providing personnel security and facility clearance support services in the time frame required.”
